The cat urine can sleep through if left too long but when changed regularly, no leaks and no scratches. My cat scratches up every litter tray liner but this never breaks. This is my one huge recommendation for all cat owners. Cleaning trays is easier. I don’t love the price but it is definet worth it! They are super thick. Always get large due to others being out of stock and have no issues tucking it under my smaller trays.
