It was a while before I got back to reading it again, during a long flight; and I could not put it down after that. I bought two more as gifts for my daughters; and I have recommended it to other women in my life. It has led me to want to read more about the women of the Bible, both Old and New Testament. It has even led me to recommend the study of the women of the Bible to the women of my church. It is an excellent read. I hope Diamante will write more books, like this, about women of the Bible. I look forward to reading more of those works by her. Since reading this book I have read other books that are written like this, by other authors; religious stories, based on facts. I make sure that their references show that they have done much research, (including from Hebrew professors), and that their stories are based on as many facts, from the Bible, as possible.
