## Description

Furick Cup - BBW Single #16 Cup Kit. The BBW cup is a DC polarity only cup and is to be used with a 3/32 – 2.4mm tungsten only. It has an inner diameter of 1.060 inches/ 26.7mm and will need 30 CFH of argon flow. It has an amperage rating of 200 amps. It is the biggest Furick Cup currently on the market and it's used for welding bigger, thicker, rounder applications. It is great for Stainless Steel, Inconel and Titanium but if you are welding smaller tubing in any of those materials choose a Fupa #12 Cup or the Moose Knuckle #14 Cup. I do not Suggest “ Walking the cup” with any of the Furick cups due to the nature of the Borosilicate laboratory grade glass they are constructed of. BBW Mounting: If you have a #17, #18 or #26 size torch you will need a #17 kit , If you have a #9 or #20 torch you will need to have a 45V44 gas lens, If you have one already, you can surely use it. Keep in mind that import brands yield lower results. BBW is recommended for, Stainless steel, Titanium, Inconel and other space grade alloys . It works best on thicker / larger applications where you need spread out coverage. It is recommended with all the BIG Diffuser cups that the user start off on low amps to stabilize the arc as to make sure you will not arc off diffuser. If diffuser arcing occurs you will have to clean/regrind the tungsten. You will not hurt the diffuser on low amps but if arc with high amps you can deteriorate the diffuser. Also be careful not to drop or hit cups against hard objects being as we all know the nature of glass.

**Q: With an ahp alpha tig 200's stock torch WP17F, what specific adaptor will i need? i've purchased this set and they terrific, but they will not fit.**
A: The furick adapter for the 17 series torches is very high quality, although if you have a 17 torch or something that uses those consumables you can just use the cheaper #17 gas lense collet bodies and they fit the fupa threads, not as nice as the furick collet body but 100% functional if you are on a budget.

**Q: Is this kit an actual Furick brand kit?**
A: No. I believe it's ck worldwide parts. Furick just assembles the kits.

**Q: Is this for 1/16 or 3/32?**
A: No, it does not include a collet. The diameter in the cup accepts 3/32, you can use this cup for a 1/16” if you have a 1/16” collet. I do.

**Q: I own the bbw #16 and it worked great for me.   i need more of the o-rings to secure it to the gas lens, however.  what should i shop for?**
