I was worried about buying grocery food from Amazon but this was a great purchase. The rice tastes the same as the packs I’d buy from the store. I prefer bagged rice as it’s quicker to cook, less dishes to clean, and tastes just as good as stovetop rice. Also all of the bags I received had a decent expiration date so I don’t have to rush to use them.

They have a long expiration date and taste good.

BEN'S ORIGINAL Ready Rice Basmati Rice Excellent rice with distinctive Basmati flavour and texture; requires minimal fluffing before serving. For a rice maven who had to reorganize cooking methods and despite low expectations, this microwave Basmati rice has proved to be 96% as good as rice produced in the standard boil/simmer/stand method. It tends to clump a bit, but separates well using a fork to fluff. (In conventional cooking I'd fix this using a scant liquid measure, adding 5 minutes to the stand part and perhaps a bit of butter.) I've used this variety every week for over 5 years and it's a kitchen staple. That being said, this was my first rice order from Amazon and something of a gamble. Sent by Amazon, it arrived in a timely manner, repackaged over a Mars food us, llc box. The contents included 3 packets of rice that were 2 MONTHS OVER BEST BY DATE; the rest were dated next year. As we go through rice quickly, and the foodstuff being rice after all, I decided to try it - it looked and tasted fine, and there were no adverse effects. I'll be ordering again, but will be careful about checking dates.

Decided to try this Basmati rice. It is really convenient. Quick and easy to serve. I have to say that I miss the texture and flavor of making my own, but this is a good option when I am in a pinch for time!

This is a great product for when you do t have time. It’s ready in a couple of minutes. Not as good as fresh rice but better than next day rice and you can’t beat the time savings.

I’ve been buying this product for a while due to its great taste, big portion size and I could take it with me when I go to hotels that have a microwave lol. I feel like it’s a little pricey, but I love rice and I love the way this rice taste, and the assortment of flavors that they have. It would be cool if they lowered the price a little bit, but I’m buying it!
