Is the "black" actually solid black? one i received was dark grey in front. (not sure if i was shipped the wrong one or if that is the actual color)

Hello - the black cap is a solid black. If you would like to contact us directly with a previous order number we can look into that.

Is the front two panels structured and solid or only cloth material?

Yes it's solid material. This is a good quality hat.

Is this an authentic Richardson hat, or a reproduction?

Authentic sourced from Richardson directly
