## Description

SIMOLIO Portable Wireless TV Speakers with Clear Dialogue for Hard of Hearing, Ideal for TV Watching without Blaring Volume for Seniors, Wireless Speakers for Television with 2 AC Adapters (SM-621D) : desertcart.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Review: A great help for hard of hearing. - This was a big success with my mother in-law. She normally has her TV on full volume. With this device installed (very easily) she is able to have the wireless speaker right beside her armchair. The sound is extremely clear on the normal setting, though it also has a tone setting optimised for speech. The volume has thankfully come down to a much more sensible level and my ears have stopped bleeding. She’s very non technical, so the simple single rotary volume/power knob is ideal. The base station has to be powered by a mains power supply, but the speaker unit is rechargeable if you place it on the base when not in use. However, to avoid having to recharge, a second power supply is provided for the speaker unit. It is advised to remove the lithium battery pack if this is the chosen setup. The speaker unit is light and easily portable, the size and shape of a small handbag. A simple stethoscope style headset is also supplied, which works fine, but sort of defeats the object of the wireless speaker. There are several possible connection options at the TV end. All necessary leads are included. A comprehensive manual is also supplied, which I studied AFTER quickly setting up 😀
Review: Quite superb device for the hard of hearing - I must say I was sceptical about this device from an unknown brand, but wow. With an elderly father come to live with us, day one was spent with the TV in his room blaring round the entire house so something had to be done. Ordered this device and my goodness it works well. No apps, complex menus (except possibly on your TV), no signing up for an account online. Just a large knob on the front that turns it on and adjusts volume. Perfect for seniors. And the sound quality is frankly remarkable. My father who is completely deaf in one ear and with poor hearing in his second can hear the TV perfectly at normal volumes. Domestic harmony restored. Very well-worth the price.

## Features

- DIGITAL OPTICAL/RCA/AUX AUDIO OUTPUT SUPPORTED: compatible with most TVs/DVDs/media systems. You don't have to spend extra money on a digital-to-analog converter, and avoid the mess wires and a heap of connections behind your TV. PS: 1. If your TV's optical port is occupied by a soundbar, you'll need an optical splitter. 2. Whether or not plugging into the TV's audio output will silence the TV's internal speakers depends on the TV's circuit design, pls contact your TV manufacturer for details.
- WIRELESS SPEAKERS FOR COMFORTABLE TV AUDIO ENJOYMENT AND HEARING ASSISTANCE: A perfect alternative to wireless TV headphones, freeing your ears from heavy and uncomfortable over-ear or in-ear headphones. 2.4GHz FHSS tech ensures easy connection and high fidelity stereo sound reproduction without interference for your ultimate listening pleasure! No more blaring volume, you can share a TV show or movie with someone who has regular hearing. No WiFi or Bluetooth required.
- HI-TECH PERSONAL WIRELESS TV SPEAKERS/SOUNDBOX CUSTOMIZED FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS OR THOSE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS: Featuring voice highlighting tech, automatic gain control and TONE adjustment to make TV dialogue stand out clearly from background sound, this personal sound amplification TV speaker allows you to regain clear and crisp TV sound without constantly fiddling with the remote control in an effort to find the optimal volume level.
- PORTABLE FOR CONVENIENCE & 2 CHARGING OPTIONS: Supporting 6 hrs of continuous operation on a single charge, this TV hearing amplifier has a range of up to 100 ft, giving you the freedom to use your assistive listening device anywhere in the house, even outdoors. You can charge the speaker by placing it on the charging base or enjoy TV all day long by using the power adapter to plug it into a wall outlet. It is recommended to remove the battery when not in use for a long time.
- INDEPENDENT VOLUME & INCLUDEDS A HEADPHONE FOR A PRIVATE LISTENING: Our portable TV speaker features its own volume control, just turn the big volume knob to get the desired sound level. Connect the specially designed lightweight, noise isolating stethoscope headset to the speaker for quiet TV viewing by setting the TV on mute. Note: Before using this personal TV speaker with a pacemaker or other medical device, consult your physician or the manufacturer of the medical device.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic
*by S***G on 30 June 2025*

Brilliant! We can hear the dialogue a lot more easily. Straightforward set up, quite simple. I understand this is portable but haven't used it that was yet and it has a second charger to facilitate this so it doesn't run out of charge away from the transmitter/dock. I only wish it had a remote control as where we keep ours is out of arm's reach. Quite attractive, not at all ugly.
