A lot of reviews say it’s a “burn hazard.” You can’t just grab a hot toaster wherever you want either. So I don’t know what those people are complaining about. Anyway this thing makes great waffles. They’re somewhere in between a Belgian waffle and a regular waffle. I like the “moat” this waffle maker has. If you put in the recommended amount of better then it doesn’t overflow on to your counter like another machine I bought previously did. The only reason I’m giving this product four stars and not five is because I would prefer my waffles to be a little thinner and the squares to be smaller. Also, it cooks the waffle, a little bit unevenly.
