How do you keep this yarn from fraying and unraveling?

The pattern I have using this exact nylon thread suggests clear nail polish to secure the ends and keep from fraying.

Can I make a beach wrap with this ?

no, more for hand bags, slippers, etc.

What is the thickness in mm?

label says 4mm. I use it to make crocheted purses

I believe so. This cord is great using a H, I, or J crochet hook. F is too small. Any larger hook may need two treads. Rosebud, Pittsburgh, PA
