Regards **Q: Does this unit have a built-in fan for cooling?** A: The version of this unit that I purchased did not have a fan installed, but there is space for a fan, and vent slits in the case, plus a connector on the board that you can plug a fan into. I purchased a 40 x 40 x 10mm 4010 12V 0.10A Brushless DC Cooling Fan 2pin AV-F4010MB which worked perfectly - I used pieces of cardboard to hold the fan in place. The case works OK but I had difficulties with the drive having trouble recognizing some blu-ray discs for some reason.
