This was really easy to set up, just install an app on your phone, plug in the printer and the app takes you right through the quick and easy set up. Couldn't be simpler. Also, the instant ink option is brilliant. I highly recommend it. I suggest go for the 300 page plan at first for your 2 free months. Then put in code BMMRt for an extra month, then code FREEINK for another month free. That's a total of 4 free months of 300 pages per month. It is so quick and easy to change your plan too so you can cancel or change plan before you are charged at the end of your trial. ... and did I mention what a fantastic little printer it is :)
Review: Fantastic wireless budget printer - I am very confused by the hate on this device, we found it very easy to set up as all instructions are provided and you just need to enter your WiFi code, and install an app to your phone. You can either print wirelessly from your device (we found no issues, besides some formatting, but that was user not system error) or via the app which allows you to format prints etc. The paper tray is internal which is a relief as having a toddler becomes a nightmare, they love paper! The one thing that I like most about this printer is the ink, no longer am I continually getting rinsed by excessive toner cartridges, we got 6 months free ink and then after you simply sign up to a plan from :- 15 pages free, 50 pages £1.99, 100 pages £3.49, 300 pages £7.99 or 700 pages for £17.99 per month. All work out cheaper than buying off the shelf ink, it simply sends you ink when you require it, easy peasy. I fully recommend this for a lower end printer if you have school kids and continually printing off coursework, and the images are not too bad either. Ok the photo's are not quite perfect, but what do you expect from a lower end printer?

What an amazing printer for such a cheap price. This was really easy to set up, just install an app on your phone, plug in the printer and the app takes you right through the quick and easy set up. Couldn't be simpler. Also, the instant ink option is brilliant. I highly recommend it. I suggest go for the 300 page plan at first for your 2 free months. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good printer, but connectivity, app and set up is fiddly!

I bought this off the strength of a couple of reviews. The print quality is excellent and the ability to scan documents and send them (when this feature works) is really useful. What's good about it: Print quality in colour and B&W is excellent. The printing is quick and relatively quiet. It will print double-sided and it is not noisy. It scans documents well and then you can send them to a variety of devices using the app. The HP proprietary app, when it works, is fairly user friendly and does what you need it too. What's not good: I'm good with tech and out of the box the printer took a while to set up. The wifi connection is glitchy as hell and even now I have established it is temperamental at best, and often drops if the printer is idling. If you are scanning large documents more than 10 pages, you often have to do this in batches. Sometimes it just stops working for no reason. The app is nicely designed, but like the printer, is extremely temperamental and not particularly intuitive. It's an ugly piece of black, Chinese made, plastic sitting at the end of my kitchen table. Doesn't affect the performance, but it is not pretty to look at! I haven't changed the ink yet, but looking at some of the reviews and prices of ink I can tell this is going to be an expensive faff!
