**Q: Is this painted plaza or actual blended glass?**
A: It's completely enclosed in glass clear on top and black underneath, in vibrant colors, kind of a sparkly pearl stained glass.  It's beautiful, I got the earrings as a gift and bought the pendant to match.  I get lots of compliments and it goes with a lot of solid colors.  Buy it!
