I use it to play electronic drums along with music tracks and it works well. Tv would probably require less volume and be equally acceptable. **Q: Does the mackie hm-4 come with a 1/4" to 1/4" tsr cable in addition to the included 12v power supply?** A: Hi, no it comes with HM-4 and the 12 VDC Power Supply, that's all,. Typically manufacturers don't give cables like that since it adds to the cost for them, and many people already have tons of cables. Sturdy and quality sound output *by on Reviewed in India 5 November 2022* Excellent for small home studio and bands. Sturdy and quality sound output. The volume knobs feel loose and cheap but does the work pretty well. I use it with a Soundcraft mixer and 50% volume itself is too loud and doesn’t get distorted until you reach 90% volume. Has a Led power indicator which is good but does not have a power on/off switch which could have been a good- but no complaints.
