Manifest Decimation

Fantastic debut album from Power Trip. They crammed as many riffs as they could in this blistering 35 minute album. This is really a stand out album, in the wave of all the modern thrash albums. The vinyl sounds fantastic, and comes with a lyric sheet. The cover art for this album is amazing, and so many great details you can't pick out by a little mp3 thumbnail. 100% recommend this vinyl.

Something's up in Texas in a big way. These guys, Hatred Surge, and Mammoth Grinder have all put out near-perfect records in the last year. But Manifest Decimation is miles away the best of the bunch. There's been a lot of noise about the so-called thrash revival of recent years, but Power Trip seems to have absorbed all the right influences without simply aping the past masters. Reminds me of "Kill 'em All"-era Metallica, without any of the guitar wankery. The singer uses some echo effect on his vocals all the way through the album, and it gives the record a spooky feel.

I heard these guys at the LoG concert in Houston recently and I knew I had to have their music. They were amazing live and this album did not disappoint. The songs are heavy, the sound is raw, and the energy is high. This album will kick your butt! For those who want references, to me the album is reminiscent of Slayer and Metallica's first two albums.

Back in the day, D.R.I., Slayer and Metallica were the soundtrack to my teenage years. Power Trip is a flashback to that era. Imagine D.R.I. mixed with "Hell Awaits"-era Slayer and "Kill 'Em All"/"Ride The Lightning" era Metallica, and you get the picture. Highly recommended if you're into the mid-80's thrash/hardcore crossover style of metal. Great stuff here!

Great Thrash album. It actually reminds me of Slayers Reign in Blood. As far as this new generation of Thrash Metal bands go, its at the top with the other new standouts. I also received the album fast and in good condition, thru the Amazon fulfillment.

I picked this album up because it was getting a ton of great reviews. I'm finding it to be disappointing at best. The riffs are simple and not inspiring. It almost sounds like a band that recently learned how to play and are putting out their first demo to get their feet wet. The vocals have an echo to them that is really annoying throughout the entire album. I don't understand how anyone could compare this to Metallica or any band with speed...well, old Metallica at least had speed. This is simplified thrash, and by simplified I mean mid paced riffs with little to no variation throughout each song. I'd save your money if you're thinking about picking up this dud.

Not a bad way to spend a few dollars. Hint, Hint.. I bet this would really be cool on vinyl. Old skull garage metal sound, great intensity. Awesome sound all the way through. Fans of Kreator,Testament, Sepultura, Megadeth, would not be disappointed with this album or this band.

Great album.....crank this sh*t after midnight & if you're neighbor doesn't like it, stuff a dead raccoon in his mailbox. Might as well drop-trou & take a doozer in his wife's flower garden while you're at it...don't throw this album on if your crew is a bunch of poindexters though, this one is for pimps only. Hail Lucifer!!!

Ordered through MyWorldwideMarket ...had an issue and they gave me a full refund. I am very pleased with their customer service. As for the album...Amazing. Chock full of riffs. More straight forward than "Nightmare Logic"...sounds great on vinyl. You have to see these guys live!

Excelente música y llego muy bien

This is a late review to a CD which was released in 2013, but a CD worthy of a mention in my opinion, its easy to miss a good new band in the masses of Metal bands available to todays Metal Fans, years ago this wasn't so much a problem as there was considerably less bands and between Metal Hammer and Metal Forces you were kept up to date with all new up and coming bands, nowadays the Metal Rags are so engrossed in Metalcore that proper music takes back seat and some releases fly under the radar (for a while) Im a big fan of Southern Lord record label and when I found out they were home to a band called Power Trip I had to get the CD, first listen was fair enough, so was the 2nd and 3rd but there was something familiar that I couldn't place my finger (I have to admit also the lyrics weren't sitting well with me at this point) But the riffs, well they are so sharp they are ear splitting, multiple listens later and I now understood the band better, and in a more qualified position to write a review, in short this is fantatstic, the reverb that I found a challenge to get over at the start actually is important and the biggest compliment I can give Power Trip and Manifest Decimation is that this is the closest thing you will ever hear to Cro Mags Best Wishes, if you are now saying no Fxxxxxg way then just listen to the title track, this album is a throwback to vintage thrash with a mega splosh of Best Wishes and it is a belter, and I recommend fans of old school thrash and hardcore get this...................................

R.I.P. Riley Gale 🤘

脳みそ筋肉メタル。 小賢しいことなんか知らねぇ！って感じの音です。 こういうメタルは逆に新鮮かもしれません。 パンテラとかが好きな人はこれも気に入るかもしれません。
