Fire Pit Poker

The poker arrived quickly and we took it with us on a recent 4-day camping trip. I like that it separates into 2 pieces because it's so much easier to pack in the same box with our other campfire necessities (although I did wrap the poker end in a scrap of cardboard to prevent any damage to other items during transit), and we assembled it at the campsite with a swiss army knife (all you need is a small screwdriver). We used this to stoke our campfire late into the evenings, and to lift the lid on our dutch oven whenever we were cooking over the fire. It worked very well for both purposes! I love that I didn't need separate tools for stoking and lid-lifting, and the fact that this item is so compact. We also disassembled the poker when we were packing to leave camp and stored everything back in the campfire box.

I bought this as a gift for my dad after he built his fire pit. He loves it and I love that he quit sticking his hands and feet in the fire pit to move the wood around. It was easy to assemble and it’s heavy and sturdy. My only complaint would be that it’s a little loose and rattles a bit where the two pieces screw together. It’s definitely a quality poker and I would buy it again but I do worry that will be a problem at some point.

I had trouble getting one of the 2 screws to tighten all the way. I'm sure it's just a fluke. I got it pretty tight after some elbow grease and a bandaid from the screwdriver slipping. Seems nice and sturdy. Sure it will do the job.

Use for outdoor fire pit. Works great and very sturdy

Works great, strong.

This is an excellent fire pit poker. Easy to put together I didn’t notice any wobbling like a few others did. Appears to be great quality and just what I was looking for. Great price too.

Could have come with lock washers or plastic thread inserts to keep the 2 pieces from loosening. The handle will loosen also without a way to secure it (maybe loctite). It's long enough and heavy duty, but I would prefer a one piece (my fault). It will be fine for my outdoor fire pit. I don't have a fireplace, but if you do, I would consider a poker with with better aesthetics when on display with other fireplace tools in your den or living room, if you're concerned about that sort of thing. It's kind of an ugly duckling.

Exactly what I was looking for and worked great at the campfire in the great outdoors! The handle screws on but does not stay tight. Nothing a little thread lock tape or glue can’t fix though

I like how it's collapsible. Great item

Il a été dehors depuis que nous l'avons et il reste beau malgré la pluie!

It works pretty well, definitely sturdy, and looks a lot better than most other basic pokers. Overall I recommend it

This is a great fire poker. I like the sturdy handle and the hook feels like it is very solid. I brought it camping for 3 nights and it stood up well moving logs around my huge campfires. The poker is portable and packs up small due to it coming in 3 pieces. It takes just two small screws to assemble it. So bring a small screwdriver for camping trips! I hope you found this helpful.

Works great as intended, until it got ran over by a lawn mower.
