A: Probably not. It’s not strong enough to support that. It’s very soft and narrower than a waistband elastic should be.  Great for a baby headband.

A: You might be able to use them for hair ties, but I don’t think they will be strong enough.

A: Most of mine were close enough to a yard to use for my project (cloth masks).  I think I had one piece that was randomly cut in two.
