Review: It’s a portable masterpiece - I deliberated for a couple years on getting one of these and on June 24, 2026 I took the plunge. I’ve seen complaints over the battery life, the startup time, the sound it makes and interrupts the music when you get it charging. First, it can put out 176 watts so yeah if you crank it, the battery will be done in a couple hours. That’s a given. I bought a 10k Ugreen USB-C to fill in the gaps where the battery doesn’t. Boot up time? Well it has 4 CPUs and an operating system it runs. It’s computer so that can take a moment. Not a big deal when you understand what’s going on. Honestly those things are a small price to pay when you hear this thing. I have a number of portable speakers and those don’t even close to the Mania. It’s by far my favorite purchase this year. It has 2 bass drivers that are powered at 38 watts each then 4 directional mid-high range drivers at 25 watts each. It creates a full sound in the room. It also has 4 mics to adjust the audio properties based on its placement. The one thing I will mention is it’s best you have an iPhone so you can take advantage of Airplay. The quality definitely improves. Otherwise it’s Bluetooth and no app control. I’ve had a life long obsession with portable audio quality and this fulfills that. If you can afford it, BUY IT! You will not regret your purchase. I can’t stress this enough. Regarding the pic, well I love going outside, have a drink and enjoy my Mania. Thanks you Devialet for making this speaker. It’s awesome to own a piece of your quality.
