## Description

Polydrain 450Mm Manhole Cover And Frame

Review: Works perfectly - Bought in an emergency to replace a metal one which had corroded over the years. This one slotted into place perfectly. Very sturdy, has been driven over by my car a number of times as it is in the driveway. Very happy with the purchase.
Review: Built for the job! - This driveway drain cover is to replace a cast iron one on my driveway that was cracked when a delivery lorry visited, and turned out to be not rated as driveway compliant. As the new one is stamped 'driveway' I am confident it will be better suited. It has fitted the 450mm drainwork perfectly, and was delivered promptly for free.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do i remove lid from frame**
A: Just remove the 3 screws and lift it off using a lever of some sort

**Q: Is there a seal between lid and frame available for it?**
A: Not sure on that.
Personally I don’t see the needs for one.
It screws down to a tight fit.
The lid has an inner lip on the underside that slots snug into a groove within the base.
It covers my sewer outlet.
Easy to site, it looks good, it is totally secure with no leakage or aroma and is very reasonable on price.
It does exactly what it said it’ll do.
I have no issues with it whatsoever.

**Q: Does this fit onto a 45cm inspection chamber**
A: Yes it also comes with a collar so anything out to 500 mm should be fine

**Q: What's the maximum weight limit it will withstand if driven over.**
A: Rated as B125 'driveway' safe to take 12.5 tonnes weight, however if your driveway is often mounted by delivery vehicles or dustbin lorries, you should consider a C250 load rating.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good

Arrived on time. Sturdy. Was able to just drop it in place without removing the old frame. Should last a lot longer than the galvanized one that it replaces. Would recommend.
