Creative Coloring Mandalas

This is another fantastic Creative Coloring book, beautiful mandalas on every page. The circular patterns within each design give you a chance to break out those metallic gel pens and get creative with some sparkle. One of my scanned photos below, ( the purple/brown mandala) was so much fun to work on. I used my Staedtler/Sakura metallic gels in gold tones and two slightly different shades of purple. I also used Tombow dual tip pens and Bic mark-its. I do recommend placing a blank sheet of paper underneath, as there will be a fair amount of bleeding, especially when using alchohol based markers. Each illustration is printed on one side, and on perforated paper. Additionally, there are 8 colored illustrations for inspiration, and basic color tips.

These adult coloring books got me through a dark time in my life. A friend sent me this book and I thought “Really?” but it was a life saver. I did like that I could rip out the page immediately and color without the binding in the way. I only used 3-5 colors per drawing for simplicity and to minimize confusion for me. It brought me peace and serenity and there was no stress about going “out of the lines.” I highly recommend. I am getting ready to go through another round of chemo and I will find some calmness here. Attaching a couple of my drawings. No Picasso here, but it was good for me.

Great coloring book it has 10 example pages giving you some ideas. I really like the fact that the pages are perforated for easy access of removing the page from the book. I like the inspirational quotes on the back of each page , each page is so very unique. The paper is of quality, I use color pencils, the Mandalas come out so beautiful. I find this book so relaxing to color in. I think the book is priced right and would be a wonderful addition to your collection or a gift.

I love Valentina Harper's Mandalas!

This has the best Mandalas of any other book I've purchased. Beautiful designs and LOW price! However, they print on both sides of page and the pages are not perforated to tear out. Because I loved the designs, I got a second book. Tried copying each side of page on my printer. But, the markers I use seem to smear the black ink into the color😞. Maybe a print shop has better ink quality. But it's too much work for a cheap little color book. I still love the pictures!

These mandalas are beautiful. With a pack of colored pens I am absorbed for hours. The pages are perforated and can easily be removed for display.

This is a very nice book. The paper is pretty good quality and stood up to a fair amount of punishment I put it through while shading. The patterns are hand drawn, they are not mirrored with a computer program, to me that adds flavor, I guess to some it might be unwelcome. The pages are all perforated so that you can tear them out before or after coloring as you need. Well worth the price.

This is the third book in this series that I own. I absolutely love it. It is very therapeutic for me to sit and color at the end of the day. The pictures are highly detailed without being soo detailed that I don't want to color. I am a teacher of middle school kids, and these books are great for my students. It is a very much updated way to color for older kids. I can teach them how to pay attention to detail while teaching them some techniques. This is a win!!

One of my clients told me that she had been given some colouring in during an Occupational Therapy session as an inpatient. At first she had thought it was a childish thing to be asked to do, but she became engrossed and found it absorbing. It successfully distracted her mind from her worries. She found her anxiety levels coming down. So much so that when I went to visit her at home, she showed me the picture and said she had been out to buy some coloured pencils and a colouring book for adults so she could continue with the therapeutic benefits. Out of curiosity I decided to try this out for rmyself and bought this book. It really is very calming, enjoyable and relaxing. There are some beautiful examples in the front of the book to inspire you. I like the fact that the designs are only on one side of the page. I'm using (cheap) coloured pencils, but the finished designs still look pretty good, so I think this book would be suitable for both first timers and accomplished artists with all the fancy gear. Grab your medium of choice, find a quiet place.... and relax.....
