I’m trying to tig weld them. Would it be possible and if so are they all the same material?

i'm not sure about tig welding but I can say I was able to heat 2 of them up and bend them around some wood legs on a bench. I can't say they're all the same material but they seem pretty similar. they're definitely well used and a tad rusty which is what I was looking for for my project. I don't see any reason you couldn't weld it

Looking for old rusted and yes ok for mails to be in them. But i need several that do not cost 20.00 each. Any idea where to find some?

These shoes have all been around the rodeo arena and up and down mountain trails more than once. Great as they are for good luck charms or paperweights. Bend 'em, weld 'em, or nail 'em and you've got hooks, holders or a coat rack. (The nails have been snipped. But they are in rustic use). Please note horses feet do not all match - and these shoes will be all different sizes and shapes. Rusty.
