What attracted me to this one after a lot of research was the torque management ability of this product. It works really well, allowing me to maintain constant speed at all times. You can hear the machine accelerating as you apply pressure and slowing down as you release. This feature makes it easier and requires less effort to polish but it also allows you to put more pressure on that specific scratch to increase the level of cutting while still being safe not to burn the paint. I like the soft start feature because it doesn't splash product all over the car during start up. Vibration levels are moderate during medium high speeds. At full speed the machine has a lot of vibration that made my hands numb at one point during a heavy cutting of some really bad paint. 98% of the time the machine will not see full speed as most cuts are done from 4800-5800 OPM. During the polishing and waxing in low speed the machine is super efficient and very low vibration levels. I am happy with this purchase and would buy again. Review: Doesn't come with backing plate. Your arms will thank you. *by A***D on July 20, 2015* While I have had this polisher a few months, I was just now able to take it out and put it to use. I must say that this was my first step towards a nice DA polisher. I have used cheaper buffers before, and used them mainly for the finally buffing and removal stages. While they work, nothing can compare with the MT300. I can not vouch for the longevity of this, as I have only used it on one car thus far. But, for the money, I am very happy with the product. I was able to easily apply the Meguiars Glaze, and Hi-Tech Yellow wax with this product. I was able to have a very uniform application, and faster application than in times past. I was also very pleased with how deep and rich the paint looked after it was buffed. I am very particular and clay barred the car first. This honestly is the longest process, and how long it takes just depends on the condition of your paint. Then I applied the Glaze #7 with a black pad and the MT300, then I removed the glaze and buffed to a deep shine. Then I used Hi-Tech Yellow Wax #26. I then used the Micro fiber finishing/buffing pads, and got a deep shine.
