Why are y'all say how good it chop's???? i'm sooooo confused!!! it say's it's an onion"peeler". nothing about chopping. what am i ordering here????.

Here is a run-down of all the Alligator products sold under this listing. The AG1 onion & vegetable dicer has a 1/4-inch chop and does NOT have a collector cup. The AG5 onion & vegetable dicer has a 1/4-inch chop and INCLUDES the collector cup. The AG8 attachment has a 1/2-inch chop and no collector cup or base piece (it is meant as an add-on to either the AG5 or AG8). If you are wanting to do a 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch chop, my advice is to buy the AG5 with the AG8 as an add-on. I started off with the AG5 and soon desired to do a larger chop for potatoes and so purchased the AG8 add-on. I love my Alligators. The AG2 mini cutter is a completely separate device that has an 1/8-inch mince (I just got this one for Christmas and have not used it yet). The AG3 food slicer and AG9 onion peeler are also completely different devices (I have no experience with those).

Has anyone bought and used the onion peeler? That's the item I'm looking at here, not the choppers.

Sorry I have not. But there is a video demonstration of it on the Alligator website. Good luck!

Dommage
