Not fortified and not expensive
I wanted to try non-fortified yeast flakes because I heard the B12 that's added to yeast flakes is low-grade and inadequate and makes the flakes taste worse. You still need your B12 supplement if you're vegan, so why have the fortification? There's still lots of other B vitamins that occur naturally in the flakes. Turns out, most non-fortified flakes are wildly overpriced. Imagine paying five times more for something because it LACKS an added ingredient that's in the cheaper product. I'm not doing that. So I got these because the price was right and, though they don't say 'non-fortified,' they also make no mention of added B12. Sure enough, the full ingredients list is just 'Premium Yeast Flakes.' And they do taste way better.

Just do it! Tastes great, you get loads more for your money and it's recyclable.

Was surprise it came in 4 bags instead of one, last time I got a kg it was only one bag but this was very handy as the rest is easily stored
