After six months of daily domestic use, the working edge of the blade is slightly rounded which, in reality is normal bedding in. The blade is double sided so the original blade will last a long time before replacement is needed. The grip is comfortable to hold and there is a lock that allows the angle of the blade in relation to the handle to be adjusted and the lock that holds the blade holder works well. If you want a squeegee that works well, this fits the bill.
