Review: This is a true story recounting the early school days of a young Moroccan boy. It is a tale of a gradual loss of innocence as he experiences mental and physical bullying and abuse by his teachers and by the class bullyboy. And it is a tale of young friendships forged, tested, enjoyed, and occasionally lost. It includes accounts of his straitened family and his Mamma's valiant battle to fend for her children. It is a tale of childhood ambitions established and betrayed, of young hopes dashed and the inevitable unfortunate revenge. It is the tale of a struggle to survive. Review: I personally know Hassan Elgarch and was one of the people who encouraged him to write his book and his personal story. William A LaBarr
