I tried mounting it above the door before work and the bracket was fussier than it should be. It does light up and the viewing angle is fine, but it looks more “budget office” than “apartment hallway.” I ended up keeping it because I was too tired to return it after a 12 hour shift, just not as happy with it as I wanted.
