Lightweight and plug-and-play, it’s a budget-friendly essential for professionals and gamers seeking to maximize their device’s potential without extra bulk. ## Description Todays smartphones are more powerful than many computers from even just a few years ago. Unleash the power of your phone by giving it access to the same USB peripherals that make your PC easier to use - keyboards, mice, flash drives, and game controllers - using this USB On-The-Go Adapter from Monoprice. USB On-The-Go is an extension of the USB 2.0 specification. Basically it allows an OTG equipped device, such as your phone, to act as USB host. In host mode, you can connect peripheral devices, such as keyboards, mice, drives, etc., to your phone the same as you would connect them to your PC. The Android operating system is a powerful OS that includes support for these external peripherals. With an OTG adapter you can connect them to your phone and use them the same as you would use them on a PC. When combined with an MHL adapter to output the video from your phone to your HDTV, you've got a full-powered computer workstation in your pocket. Enjoy retro gaming using the proper controller for the emulated game system. Type up a report for work using a full-sized keyboard and mouse. You can even copy pictures and music from one phone to another without having to use a PC as an intermediate device. OTG opens up a world of possibilities and helps you get the most out of your digital life. Review: It's cheap and it works - I got it for a recent purchase of Fire Cube TV. It works, and it's very cheap. I don't see a reason to buy $15+ adapters when Fire Cube only supports USB 2.0 connection, as would 90% of devices that require an OTG for expansion. It's perfectly fine for accessories like mouse/keyboard or to expand storage to a small USB drive. Review: Monoprice continues to deliver - Monoprice value and dependability continues to show with this product. Performs as advertised. Connects devices like phones and tablets directly without a third party ## Features - Package Length: 1.9 cm - Package Width: 4.9 cm - Package Height: 11.1 cm - Package Quantity: 1 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009Z6A0KA | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,296 in USB-to-USB Adapters #22,806 in Computer Cables & Interconnects | | Brand | Monoprice | | Color | black | | Compatible Devices | Cellular Phones, PC | | Connector Type | Micro USB | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 246 Reviews | | Finish | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00844660097242 | | Item Dimensions | 3.3 x 5.7 x 0.8 inches | | Item Weight | 18.14 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 3.3 x 5.7 x 0.8 inches | | Manufacturer | Monoprice Inc. | | Mfr Part Number | 109724 | | Model Number | 109724 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Ports | 1 NaN | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Power Plug Type | No Plug | | Specific Uses For Product | gaming | | UPC | 844660097242 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Color:** black - **Compatible Devices:** Cellular Phones, PC - **Connector Type:** Micro USB - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 3.3 x 5.7 x 0.8 inches - **Specific Uses For Product:** gaming ## Images ![Monoprice Micro USB OTG Adapter (109724) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41sPjWKmEjL.jpg) ![Monoprice Micro USB OTG Adapter (109724) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CK-rw-77L.jpg) ![Monoprice Micro USB OTG Adapter (109724) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DCM1GNtlL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's cheap and it works *by J***N on October 31, 2022* I got it for a recent purchase of Fire Cube TV.
