It is the best contact cement of any I have tried. Longterm, to prevent a tube from drying out, keep it in the freezer and defrost each time before using. I like it because it spreads on thin and because the tube keeps its from drying and getting more viscous. **Q: will this glue ceramic pieces together? Thank you!** A: It will certainly stick to ceramic, but it is not as strong a bond as some other glues. It is more flexible, which is great for leather and other soft materials. Superglue might be better depending on what you need. **Q: Do you need to use a respirator or a special mask with this glue?** A: For me there were hardly any fumes at all from this product. I used it at my kitchen table in small amounts so I didnt use any special masks. **Q: Is this product safe to use on plastic? I am replacing a window in my convertible top and the zipper needs to be sealed and glued to the canvas.** A: Usu. some sewing is used.
