Lovely read for a 4 year old and the adult as well!
We thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has multiple layers of meanings. It has something for the adult and something for the child. It establishes that the animals also depend on the same resources as humans do and that we need to share the earth. Beautifully portrayed is the innocent fearlessness of young ones - both Sal and the Little Bear. The monochrome illustrations are very detailed and heart melting!

Recomendable.

A lovely book
A lovely book with the charm of the olden days. Lovely illustrations as expected and a good quality paper! Would love to collect more in this genre! I love how this subtlely speaks of how we share resources with other creatures! A lesson we certainly we need to learn and teach the younger ones.
