**Q: Im wanna attempt to bond a door handle back together on my Jeep. Has anyone used this stuff for anything similar? How well does it work on plastic?**
A: I have used this product on a difficult project and it worked better than I expected.  Follow the directions and you have a good chance of ot working. Can't guarantee it as I have noy used it on a handle.

**Q: Will this bond plastic to aluminum?**
A: I found this glue to be ineffective even gluing plastic together.  I did not try plastic to aluminum but I really doubt that it will work.

**Q: Will this work to seal gaps where a refrigerator seal has loosened?**
A: Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, the Loctite Plastics Bonding System will not gap fill.

**Q: What is the set time?**
A: I broke the ear piece on my glasses. I applied the loctite plastic glue to the broken part and in about an hour I was wearing my glasses and so for the last three weeks the repaired part is still holding together.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works very well for HDPE to Polycarbonate. HDPE to HDPE ok, but not as strong.

I got this after trying regular superglue and activated construction CA. I just bought the little tube to try and because I have had experience with CA in general with relatively short shelf life after opening. My main application is to bond High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) to polycarbonate. A test bond allowed to set overnight was very good. The same test with regular CA superglue was not strong at all. At the same time I tried gluing HDPE to HDPE - about a 1/4" by 1/2" bond with a couple of smooth pieces of small scrap. This was much stronger than the plain CA bond, but I would not depend on it for structural strength, as I was able to break the bond with significant force from my fingers and pliers.Based on my experience with CA adhesives in the past, I expect that other reviewers are right about this stuff drying up over time, but if I can do one or two projects with it, I am happy enough.
