This two-disc Blu-Ray set includes Catching Hell from Oscar®-winner Alex Gibney, Herschel, Charismatic, The Fab Five and the acclaimed film Renee from director Eric Drath. Catching Hell: Oscar®-winner Alex Gibney "brilliantly" (USA Today) explores the phenomenon of scapegoating through the lenses of two infamous moments in sports history: Steve Bartman's ill-fated incident and Boston Red Sox first baseman, Bill Buckner's fateful error. Official Selection, 2011 Tribeca Film Festival. Herschel: A three-time All-American and Heisman Trophy winner, Herschel Walker is a college football legend. His journey off the field, though has been filled with struggle and pain. Now a mental health advocate, this is the story of Herschel's healing and redemption. Charismatic: Together, an unlikely colt named Charismatic and his jockey, Chris Antley, became the biggest long shots in 59 years to win the Kentucky Derby, followed by another win at the Preakness. In June 1999, seconds away from becoming the first Triple Crown winner in 21 years, tragedy struck. The Fab Five: One of the most famous - and infamous - teams in college basketball history, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson arrived at the University of Michigan in the fall of 1991, and electrified the game. Renee: The intriguing story of Renee Richards, who battled to enter the 1977 U.S. Open as the first transgender tennis player. Review: ESPN Films Collection Vol. 1 Da da da, da da da.... - The ESPN Films: 2011 Collection, Volume 1 set was great. It's a combination of films that ESPN made and aired on TV years back. I enjoyed Catching Hell: The Steve Bartman Cubs story. That was fun, sad, and cool to relive. The Fab Five was gripping. The music in Charismatic was memorable. 5 star set. The other films were great as well to watch. The set also includes: Herschel, Renee, and Charismatic. I would caution parents not to show Renee to the kids. Some people might not enjoy that episode as much. It was tough subject material dealing with a transgender tennis star. Review: Good sports documentaries - Not a fan of ESPN anymore as they have become way too political and pandering over recent years. I watch a sports channel for sports, not political commentary. Buy what can you say? They make the best sports documentaries out there and this one is no exception for the most part. A couple of the episodes are boring but for the price, you can't beat it overall. Recommended. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 16 Reviews | ## Images ![Espn Films: 2011 Collection Fab 5 / Herschel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1NPVPyyszL.jpg) ![Espn Films: 2011 Collection Fab 5 / Herschel - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A18JN+m8vcL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ESPN Films Collection Vol. 1 Da da da, da da da.... *by M***L on February 23, 2017* The ESPN Films: 2011 Collection, Volume 1 set was great.
