Good stuff, worked well for my boat stuffing box.

Great for stopping those leaks from the valve stem. Bought the other PTFE packing before this and that did not stop the leak. Ordered this stuff and put a couple wraps around the valve stem and tightened down - No More Leak!!! Should have gone with this stuff first

This packing gland worked great in my 1988 sanger ski boat, one thing to note is count the amount of old pieces you remove and replace with the same amount, another thing I did see was when cutting it, make sure to wrap around the prop shaft so it over laps and cut a diagonal angle to help better seal and get the length just right, you dont want to completely crank down tightening it, you do want it to leak just a tad tad bit to help keep that shaft from overheating

Very good braid to pack your boat’s stuffing box. This was my first time. I noticed a water leak around the box and after watching several YOU TUBE videos, decided to DIMS! The job was challenging but rewarding. The videos were incredibly instructive and the braid was without doubt the best in the market. No more water leaking! :-)

Use this chain to add security to our boat motor.. it’s maybe not the most sturdy chain for the job but the diameter fits nicely for how we wrap it around . It would definitely deter a thief.
