## Description

The Moomin family and their friends are the delightful creation of Tove Jansson, and are full of a particular humour and magic that has enchanted generations of children and adults alike. Using the author's original characters and artwork, Moomin and the Birthday Button is part of a stunning new range of children's titles launching in the year of the Moomins' 65th anniversary celebrations. In this, the first of a new series of picture books, Moomintroll wakes up full of excitement. It's his birthday! But when it appears that his friends have forgotten all about his special day, Moomintroll is very upset. Even Moominmamma finds it hard to comfort him! Then there's a knock at the door . . . Who can it be, and what will happen next?

Review: A find! - Moomin and the Birthday button is part of new line of books based on Tove Jansson's Moomin stories. It is the perfect introduction of the originals to toddlers and pre-schoolers.The drawings and the characters are still Tove Jansson's and the story lines have the same gentle whimsy and wisdom of the Moomin Valley. Great birthday gift for the little ones. Also, I highly recommend the new flap books.
Review: Lovely book, great price! - Our 3y/o loves this book, the illustrations are nice and the words are big and simple enough for our 6y/o to read it himself. we definitely recommend it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ wonderful book
*by J***G on 27 April 2015*

Our 2 year old loves this book. We read it five times the first day and daily since we got it. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is long enough to keep a toddler engaged but not too long that their attention starts to wander. This is now a favourite bed time read. I can remember reading Moomin books when I was young and it is nice to see they have aged very well.
