**Q: What is the difference between this lens and the sony e 50mm f1.8 oss ?**
A: This supports the FE (full frame) cameras (A7x series), the E 50/1.8 OSS is for the APS-C crop bodies (NEX, A5xxx, A6xxx).  Both will mechanically mount and function on any E or FE body but the E 50mm will result in a cropped image on the full frame bodies.  The FE will work on any body without compromising the image - however the FE lens is a different design and has a different motor.  In my experience, it is noisier and slower to focus.  It should also be clear that the FE model doesn't include stabilization and relies on IBIS with the bodies which offer it.  I've owned both lenses so I know them well.  IMHO, the E 50/1.8 OSS is a better choice if you are using an APS-C body.

**Q: Has anyone compared this to the sonnar 55mm 1.8? i purchased this, i like the iq but it focus hunts often and af-c is no good with this lens.**
A: The 55mm is much higher quality lens all the way around. There's a reason for the price difference. Here is a comparison of the two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eFL_w42SRwYeah, this lens tends to hunt for focus a bit in low light. I've never used AF-C.

**Q: I know this is designed for full-frame, but will it work with a Sony a6300 ?**
A: Yes, it will work and fit on the Sony a6300. Though, the framing will be a bit more zoomed in. Making it feel like you're using a 70mm to 85mm lens.

**Q: Will this work with a sony a200 camera?**
A: It is not compatible with the A200. The A200 uses and A mount lens. This lens is an E mount lens.
