Jungle Book, The (Feature)

It's been an absolute age since I watched the OG Jungle Book, and now that I've watched it again I have to say I was remembering the OG with rose-coloured glasses. It's not that it's bad, far from it, it is an undeniable classic, of that have no doubt. It's just that IMHO the remake is better, especially when it comes to Mowgli, who comes across as very arrogant and generally unlikeable in the OG Movie, more so when compared to Neel Sethi's portrayal in the remake, a stellar performance if ever there were one. As for the Movie Set, it is amazing value for money as you get two classic Movies for a very low price, and on BluRay to boot. A must have.

The jungle book is a family classic Disney movie!! Loved by young and old, bear necessities, trust in me , I wanna be like you.Not forgetting about the elephants on parade. Now about the new version ? Almost all of the film was a very good interpretation of the cartoon except for the snake being female and reworked scenes ! I can't be unkind and give it 4 🌟's because the creative process of the film was tremendous.

Brilliant movie and my cat was glued to the screen

My children enjoyed it

State of the art animation, hand drawn in the 67 version and computer generated in the 2016 version, put an entertaining spin on Kipling's tales. Both worth having.

Bought this as gift for a little boy who loves animals. Both the original cartoon and live action have been watched and rewatched over and again. Another Disney classic!

Two discs, ice slip case and well presented. A steal at £10

Have owned the cartoon version for some years. Was interested to see how the new Jungle Book matched up. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Found it to be a worthy successor. Mowgli, what a star!

This is one of the top five best Disney movies of alltime. The music is really great and it makes you want too sing too it. The animation is some off the best in Disney history. The voice acting is amazing also. The story is so good it makes you laugh and even cry sometimes it hooks you too beginning too the end off the story.

Edición inglesa con audio original latino en la clásica y castellano en la otra

Old memories! Bought it to share a part of my childhood with my son and give him perspective to the 3D live action released this year.

The animation version of "The Jungle Book" is excellent. The color, animation, music, and character development is great. The varied animal characters are great fun with excellent voices. The songs are tuneful and greatly enhance this joyful Disney classic. I am glad to have this Blu-ray in my Disney collection of video disks. A real winner. I have watched the Blu-ray version repeatedly.

Evergreen classic, age no bar. This versions retaining the original content is the most appealing, more than 3D latest version of the book
