Is this fluid similar to aw 32? my log splitter calls for aw 32 hydraulic fluid.

Should be fine. I used 4 gallons in my Kubota tractor a it does great.

How much do you get? Examples: x4 1 gallon = 4 gallons or x4 quarts = 1 galloon. A review is conflicting with the product description.

description says 4 gallons. actual is 1 way overpriced gallon. run. run. away.

Would this oil be good for a Cat 262D skid steer?

It meets the specs of all manufacturers. Go to their website and you can see what specs

Will this work i. a tractor that uses 303 tractor fluid?

It's the best Hydraulic fluid you can buy, my best friend excavation contractor use in every piece of equipment he has and I use in my 400,000 dollar motor home, and it has hydraulic lifts and for slides and it works great, usually when equipment calls for specific oil is to they can repackage and put there name and mark up price now this my opinion,
