The fan in the enclosure is insufficient to keeps the drives cool. Also, if you try to use the pop-out tabs to eject the drives, they snap right off. Returning. Review: Very good, exactly what I needed, seems to be of high quality design/materials. - The instructions were a little hard to make out, but I got there in the end. Some minor issues with the drive bays fitting (Slight warping) that a tiny bit of pressure fixed right up. Quality seems top notch, the fan is quiet, and the transfer speeds are as expected. The fan in the enclosure is insufficient to keeps the drives cool. Also, if you try to use the pop-out tabs to eject the drives, they snap right off. Returning. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, exactly what I needed, seems to be of high quality design/materials. *by J***O on April 9, 2026* The instructions were a little hard to make out, but I got there in the end. Some minor issues with the drive bays fitting (Slight warping) that a tiny bit of pressure fixed right up. Quality seems top notch, the fan is quiet, and the transfer speeds are as expected. All in all, a very solid item. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good product but doors are a little flimsy. *by S***O on January 29, 2026* I'm using this as a RAID-5 backup drive on an NAS. The setup was very easy. The only issue is that the doors and drive trays require a little force to remove and I am concerned that they will break. There is another model by the same manufacturer that does not require trays which I also bought. Both are easy to set up. I recommend that one over this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DDX8PVH7/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_7?smid=A34PF29WPO2NUY&th=1 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/761753080-orico-5-bay-raid-external-hard-drive-enclosure-for-2](https://www.desertcart.no/products/761753080-orico-5-bay-raid-external-hard-drive-enclosure-for-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
