The product is good but one problem is the bakelite handle and the collar cannot be removed for cleaning the outer surface of the kettle which over time have some hard crust depositing in the crevices of the collar. Yes, the collar can be opened by unscrewing but the method is fraught with danger of breaking the screw thereby making the kettle unusable. If some improvement in design can be done, it will be of great value.

This is a good tea-pot if one has a family / surrounding with extensive tea drinkers. Reasons being:1. Easy to prepare the tea. (IE: has a handle and no need for complex pouring into cups).2. Can be placed on a hub / stove burner.3. Easy to clean. No tea stains.4. Looks trendy and modern.5. Has a strainer in built.One has to get used to the strainer. If not installed correctly, while pouring out the tea, the leaves will diffuse into the liquid. The plastic parts are of slightly inferior quality. But not a deal breaker, to be honest.

Use of plastic (do not know the quality if plastic) in the inner tub make me unhappy and hence the rating. It should have been stainless steel.

Best for my use.. Even for obnce cup tea this works well.. Value for money

Glass cracks easily, ordered twice .. too thin to be heat resistant. Both time it cracked after heating or handling during heating & pouring jnto tumbler

I am completely satisfied with the stylish yet practical kettle from Borosil. I use it daily to make tea and the infuser is an added bonus to a perfect set of serving your favourite beverage.

I like the overall build quality and usefulness.Handle is a bit wobbly. Major issue is filter... It's orifice is not too large. Impossible to make tea with regular tea powders. Will try with tea leaves...
