## Description

Onion Blossom Maker Set with The Original Better Breader Bowl - All-in-one Set includes Blooming Onion Slicer & Mess Free Batter Breading Station for at Home or On-the-Go - Perfect Coating Each Time

Review: MUCH Better Than It Seems At First Glance - This looks like and calls itself a single use kitchen item. But it's more than what it appears to be. I purchased it and have yet to use the onion blossom make addition. It stands alone in its ability to make breaded fried foods without the mess of flour getting all over the place. While your first few batches WILL NOT be restaurant qulity as you work through the subtle things holding you back, keep with it and by the fourth or fifth batch you will be making fried foods you'd gladly pay restaurant prices for. Just toss it in the dishwasher between uses and you will always be ready to go. How you deep fry it is up to you.
Review: Well made! - I don't usually get so excited I write a review before using a product. I was so excited to get this, I wanted to do this review right now. The product is well made. I ordered both this one and the Better Breader that is longer and flatter. Being able to make blooming onions was a bonus. Normally when I fry chicken tenders or fish or shrimp, the mess is just so very much to deal with. I coat first in egg wash then go to dry seasoned flour or flour/cornmeal mix. This one can hold the egg and the other one can hold the flour and I am down to two dishes. You don't want to know how many I usually use but for fun, here goes: First I crack the eggs in a coffee cup and mix them up, then I pour them over the meat in a large bowl, then I get to use my hands to make sure everything gets coated, then there is another Tupperware container I have mixed my flour cornmeal and seasoning in, I drop them into that in small batches and shake them. Then they get stacked on a plate as they wait their turn for the frier. If they sit too long, its back to the flour mix, shake shake shake. Wash hands 50 times, somehow have flour everywhere. Since I have used everything from Walmart bags, paper bags, ziplock bags before settling on the Tupperware container as best, I feel confident about this product actually being better than that. I love the way it is designed, you are easily able to hold it together for security as you shake and the lids are nice and tight. My battered projects are even more of a pain so I don't often make those Sweet and Sour Golden Spears my daughter loves. Even if I never learn to make a blooming onion, she will be cooking her favorite Chinese dish quite often with this. So get it, in fact, its best to have them both. If I use it and find I was wrong about it, I'll update this. However, I must warn you, this is a simple cleverly designed product and there is very little I could be wrong about. I know better than to melt in on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. I really really love these products!

## Questions & Answers

A: 7 inches Tall and 10.4 inches wide and The Base Holds Your Wet or Dry Mix

**Q: Will this be big enough fopr a 1lb Vidalia onion?**
A: No. Buy this one instead http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007UX88O/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1459729189&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=blooming+onion&dpPl=1&dpID=51zvZZ4LZ6L&ref=plSrch

A: It does have an option to buy the set with the batter bowl and the breading bowl or the breading bowl only. Both choices do include the onion tool. I wanted both bowls but right now the batter bowl is not available. I guess they’ve sold out for the time being. I’ll try again in a few days.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clever Design

Make sure to use a long bladed, sharp serrated knife on the blossom. Batter needs to be thinner, as in tempura, to work the best
