"FASCINATING . . . MEMORABLE . . . REVEALING . . . PERHAPS THE BEST OF CARL SAGAN'S BOOKS." --The Washington Post Book World (front page review) In Cosmos, the late astronomer Carl Sagan cast his gaze over the magnificent mystery of the Universe and made it accessible to millions of people around the world. Now in this stunning sequel, Carl Sagan completes his revolutionary journey through space and time. Future generations will look back on our epoch as the time when the human race finally broke into a radically new frontier--space. In Pale Blue Dot Sagan traces the spellbinding history of our launch into the cosmos and assesses the future that looms before us as we move out into our own solar system and on to distant galaxies beyond. The exploration and eventual settlement of other worlds is neither a fantasy nor luxury, insists Sagan, but rather a necessary condition for the survival of the human race. "TAKES READERS FAR BEYOND Cosmos . . . Sagan sees humanity's future in the stars." --Chicago Tribune Review: One of the greatest books humanity will ever have! - One of the greatest books humanity will ever have. "Despite all our limitations and fallibilities, we humans are capable of greatness." If you've already read any Sagan's Works, I bet you'll feel it's the best of his. Such a Wonderful piece of Sagan's work about our spellbinding history and whatever our fate maybe. Having enlightened by the book, I'm happy about these kind of people working for the scientific progression to enhance our perceptions about everything we used to believe! Review: Still a stunning book - Carl Sagan's unparalleled sense of perspective and inimitable expository powers haven't lost any of their power to hold one enthralled. This is still a book that is worth possessing.

Good content, but bad quality paper
The book itself is very good due to its content, but the quality of the cover or paper is not good , it seemed to be duplicate copy of the real book. I bought it for 671rs and still didn't get decent quality product.

Excellent Book.. by the legend "Carl Sagan"
This book by Carl Sagan is a gem of all books. It has brilliant illustrations of fundamentals and high level physics of universe. I purchased this for my sister and she is loving it. Keep it up Amazon and keep bringing such excellent books.. I would definitely recommend this one for all astronomical physics enthusiasts out there..

Not a genuine copy
This book is a classic and the author is a legend. No question about the contents of the book. This review, however, is about the book that I received. The cover and page quality of the book was not upto the mark. The cover was trimmed so wrongly that neither the book name nor Carl Sagan's name were at the centre of the cover. The centre image was cropped on the righthand side. There was not a single image in the book. The image descriptions were also missing. The page designs of the original book was changed. The original book had 384 pages (as per the product description in the publisher's website and in Amazon as well), but this book had only 362 pages. So 22 pages of contents were missing. I am disappointed as this neither looked like the genuine copy of the book nor did it match with the product description.
