This is my 3rd Ella Bella hair appliance purchase. I have the hair dryer and curling brush that I love. They are small and super lightweight and work great. My daughter took my old Babyliss curling iron so when I needed a new one, I went right to Ella Bella. I was not disappointed. I purchased the 1.25 barrel for my shoulder length hair and got great results and a lot of compliments the first time I used it. It is also very lightweight so makes it easy to use. It gave me nice loose beachy waves which was exactly what I was looking for. My hair is medium thickness and I used it on day 3 hair. The waves held up all day and used the WOW style on steroids for holding. Those people that comment saying their curls didn’t hold up weren’t using the proper styling products and is not a result of the curling iron but rather their hair type. The product is meant to create curls or waves then it is up to the individual to make sure they stay. I personally love this curling iron snd all of the Ella Bella products not to mention the warranty and personal communication with Ruth, the founder of the company. Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

Ive had this curling iron for exactly 2 years.. and it just broke, it still heats but the clip popped off. To be fair it has been dropped over the years so that may have weakened the plastic. Other than that I have enjoyed it and here to buy another. It has a couple of flaws like the temp adjustment is right where your hand is so you can accidentally change the temp easily and have to stop and fix it. Also the cool tip is very small so you cant really use it to help adjust the iron. What I do like is that it works at very low temp.. I usually use 180 sometimes 250 and it makes smooth healthy curls.

This curling iron is a great curling iron. I am going to stick with my one inch for a little longer because my hair isn’t quite long enough for this one yet, but it’s a me problem and not the product itself. It does work, but I prefer tighter curls and it just isn’t giving me that yet because of the length of my hair. It did give me long lasting body to my hair though. Fast heating and I like the silicone holder that came with it.
