A: There may be about 40-50 in the jar.

**Q: Once they are opened, how long do they last when in the fridge?**
A: It says on the jar “do not refrigerate”. I didn’t and they last months. They are too good to last long enough to spoil.

**Q: Does it say what the natural color is derived from on the label? Many red foods are tinted with carmine which is natural, but I do not eat it.Thanks**

A: It says " Once opened keep the jar closed in a cool and dry place. Do not freeze." on the label of Luxardo Maraschino cherries.
