I ordered 2 of these. I used one to make a animated zombie skeleton for Halloween as well as replace the old motor on an animated reindeer for Christmas. It is weatherproof and stood up to a Midwest Fall and Winter. Rain Snow Cold and Wind!! Worked Perfect for Both applications!!!

I own several of these. I use them for my Halloween and Christmas diy projects. So glad that you can buy them off Amazon. In my days ( LOL ) you had the cannibalize from old reindeer displays or buy off eBay if you were lucky. I’m slowly building up a stock pile of these for those inspirational moments. They are strong and reliable and come with the necessary gear arms.

This was the perfect replacement for the Christmas deer. It fit perfectly and it was very easy to change.

Gave it a 4 star because i thought it would be powerfull enough to raise and lower a 2x3 piece of foam for a Haloween project. It wasnt. I know that wasnt what the motor was built for but still thought it would have more power.

I used these to fix my 20 year old Costco reindeer set. they work well, needed a couple of mods to mount properly, but they make my reindeer fly once again!
