NGK Wire Set: 7mm ultra-low resistance magnetic core, wire wound ignition cable with OEM or better specified spark plug and distributor boots. High temp silicone jacket resists underhood temperatures up to 482 degrees F. High density, premium fiberglass braiding reinforcement over EPDM / silicone inner insulation for superior dielectric strength and excellent cable tensile strength. NGK wire sets are built to meet stringent OEM tolerances for a variety of vehicles. They utilize a construction method known as variable pitch wire winding to create resistance to radio frequency interference. Review: Great looking - I picked this set up for a customers 1960 Falcon as there wasn't a listing of these high quality cables for that old of a vehicle. These fit great, just had to cut distributor end of cable and reattach connector end. Looks great and they love the color.
Review: Good Wires - With the help of spark plug wire separators, they look great under the hood! The spark plug wires came individually numbered with a small piece of clear tape. On my 79 280ZX I matched the number on the spark plug wire to the firing order number on the distributor cap and the lenght of each spark plug wire to the spark plug was perfect. The car has the stock inline 6 engine in it. The spark plug wires are a nice thick shade of blue and they feel very firm. They give me the impression that they will last a long time. I have had them in my car for 5 months already and they still look new. For those of you using MSD ignition: These wires should work well with your MSD setup. My 79 280ZX is running with the MSD Street Fire CD Ignition pn 5520 and MSD Blaster 2 coil. It has a big spark with these wires.
