TP-Link Omada EAP723 | BE5000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Access Point | 1 x 2.5 GB PoE+ Port | Multi-RUs, SDN Integrated | Cloud Access & Omada App | w/o DC Adapter

I purchased the TP-Link Omada EAP723 hoping to improve Wi-Fi coverage in my small 1-bedroom apartment. My existing router is normally placed in the middle of the house, so I assumed that mounting this access point on the ceiling in the center of the apartment would provide better range and stronger signal throughout the home. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. The Wi-Fi speeds were actually worse than my existing router, and the coverage was not noticeably better either. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I did expect at least some improvement considering this is a dedicated access point. Another disappointment is that despite being marketed as a Wi-Fi 7 access point, it does not support the 6 GHz band. For me, that removes one of the main reasons to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 in the first place. After testing it for a while, I decided to return it. I’ll either upgrade to a true tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router with 6 GHz support or invest in a mesh system instead. Your experience may vary depending on your environment and setup, but for a small apartment, this product did not provide any advantage over my existing router.

No es Wifi7, marca pero a la hora de conectarse marca como wifi 6e

Setup and installation were both straightforward. I can’t confirm the full 2.5G capability because my current setup isn’t testing at that speed, but I am hitting around 1 Gbps and the connection has been excellent. Coverage throughout my roughly 1,200 sq. ft. home has been very good. It does reach outside, although the outdoor coverage is only okay. That wasn’t the purpose of this access point for me, so for its intended indoor use it has performed exactly as I hoped.

Very good product work perfectly with my be700 archer router and 2.5 GBs switch

Buen punto de acceso se asocia a omoda, lo que no hace sentido es que no traiga su inyector POE como el resto de los productos
