Review: Growth - The larger plant is from a crown cutting and the smaller ones are from root cuttings, they were in separate containers, the roots weren’t growing so I repotted them and as you can see in the pic, they are growing, all but one, so I’m waiting patiently to see some signs of life bursting forth through the soil as of yet, that hasn’t happened. I will separate these soon so they’ll each have their own space. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and can’t wait to see how large they will grow. Also the water is controlled so anything seeds, plants, etc is controlled. Try finding the distributor outside Amaz and see if they can deal direct. Good luck finding the loophole! **Q: Does the plant look like picture above? Large leaves?** A: I potted mine late in the season and it is surviving the winter sitting in a window sill. The leaves are shaped like the photo above but until I can get the plant in the ground after risk of frost, I can’t say it is exactly as pictured. But I can say that the leaves are definitely the hairy/prickly medicinal comfrey leaves I remember my mother growing in the garden. I’m impressed that the plant is surviving the winter so well in a pot and think it will have no problem taking off in the spring. **Q: What is different between Russian comfrey and comfrey plants how do they differ?** A: Russian comfrey is a hybrid between true comfrey and prickly comfrey. Russian won't spread by seed as it's sterile. I think should have waited longer. I got the second one from the same seller.I already knew what to do and look how beautiful it looks my wife and I take very good care of this Comfrey. Instead of transferring it this time I started off with just putting it in the big pot already with organic soil with bone mail.
