Review: Had to get another one - I don't typically write reviews unless it's above or below expectations. But I had one I bought a few years ago that I mistakingly abused by running for hours on end and wound up damaging the engine. So it had gotten loud and honestly sounding like it would explode at any moment lol but I bought a new one simply because I loved my old one. The new one is more advanced!!! It has a great grip, its super quiet. It still has a lot of power and is easy to maneuver. Its kind of chunky in size, but I like that because its easier to grip for control. I'm loving the new one so far!!
Review: a budget-friendly option that doesn’t feel cheap. - First time trying this brand for a personal side project, and I’m impressed. I usually use big-name rotary tools at work, but this one actaully holds up really well. Great value for the price — comes with a tool case, and lots of accessories, and a flexible shaft that makes working at different angles much easier (though I have found a case to use it).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it made in the USA?**
A: The "Dremel" brand, even though owned by Bosh, also is built in China. Not many tools are made in the USA, and it's stupid to even ask "Is it made in the USA?"
to quote:
"Dremel is a popular brand of rotary tools that are widely available in the United States. However, many people do not know that the brand is made in China. The majority of the tools are made in China, but the company also manufactures some tools in the United States. Dremel has been making rotary tools in China for over 30 years and it is one of the biggest manufacturers of rotary tools in the world."

**Q: Can it carve in epoxy resin?**
A: Looking at the list of included items and seeing there's a resin cutting disk, I'd have to say yes.

**Q: has anyone had issues with it not turning on?**
A: I am having difficulty with mine turning on.

**Q: 220 Volt option?**
A: The booklet included with this tool does indicate that they make a 220V model but this listing is for the US-voltage.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good
*by I***L on August 3, 2026*

Great value, and the flex shaft is awesome. The chord likes to pop out of it's little holder in the case so that can get annoying... And I don't like the ventilation placement; I keep accidentally covering it.
