Artificial Intelligence | Third Edition | By Pearson: A Modern Approach

It's one of the best book in this field and I'm surprised that for only 790/- I got this gold mine Indian version but page quality in Indian version is also very good while only font is a bit smaller. If you are eager in AI (doing MTech or PhD, I'm doing ME in JU) , you've to read this one not thoroughly since it's a giant.

It is absolutely amazing , I am on chapter 2. Chapter 1 starts from scratch and tells you the origin of AI. It is listed as course book in edx course of AI. Pros Best Print | Thick Book for that extra knowledge :) | Best Author. Algorithm implementation in all major languages has been uploaded to the github by author and his colleagues. cons: Not in Color :( I would also recommend you to read the AI PAPER by Alan turing.("computing machinery and intelligence) although that is an exercise question at the end of first chapter. also this is 2017 reprint that I received on 31st December 2016. Extra smart delivery haha

Very useful for second year engineering for computer students

This book is one of the most sought-after textbooks in the field of AI. It goes great with Columbia University's online course on Artificial Intelligence (CSMM.101X) and serves as a handy reference. This print for the Indian subcontinent seems genuine. The paper quality is better than what you'd expect and the cover is in good condition as well. The book is exceptionally heavy, mind you. Running 1150 or so pages, this tome might not be easy to accommodate in your bookshelf.

The book is awesome..total theoritical but it contains each n everything we need to know about AI, from the beginning of AI to its subcategories..everything in depth..very nice book actually..contains all the algorithms that come under AI or depicts AI, i.e. every possible algorithm that we can't even think of..awesome..loved it..a must have book for all computer science students or scholars..

The book covers almost all topics, but the thing is all topics are not equally elaborated. This book is lengthy for no reason. Unbiased statements about some concepts is given. Although some concepts are given eloquently, some are just verbose with un supported claims. But still, good book to go through, but be quicker than what i s expected.

Good but 4 pages are misprint

This is the best introductory review to Artificial Intelligence on the market. It's very well written and organized. There are other books that are better for focusing on one particular aspect of AI, but as a general book this is the best I've seen. If you are looking for a really good introductory textbook to AI that does not completely dumb things down, buy this book. Most of the negative comments about this book come from people stating that it's not a big enough update from the prior edition. While it's true that the entire field of AI has not been completely updated since the last edition, it's also not the case that this book comes out with new editions with the frequency of some Calculus or Economics textbooks where new editions seem to come out purely to ensure students can't buy a used book for the course. The updates are substantial. Whether the new edition gives you enough extra to want to buy it if you own the old edition is a decision only you can make for yourself after spending some time at the website for the book aima.cs.uberkeley.edu. The Kindle conversion of this book is absolutely horrendous. I prefer to buy electronic copies of books if possible so I don't have to carry a heavy hard copy around since I often read while commuting. I would not recommend that for this book, even though at a 1000+ textbook sized pages, it is a pretty substantial book. Fortunately a friend of mine had bought a Kindle copy of the book and I was able to see how bad it was and I bought the hard copy. I recently got an email telling me Amazon was sending out an updated version of the Kindle version of Steve Job's biography because the conversion hadn't been done properly. They really need to do that for this book. Once done it may be a good idea to state on the website that the Kindle conversion has been fixed.

Si tratta di un testo di taglio accademico, molto ben fatto completo e coerente. Veramente consigliato. Non è un libro divulgativo, richiede conoscenze di analisi matematica 1 e 2 per essere compreso in ogni sua parte, ma immagini possa anche essere affrontato ad un livello meno profondo traendone comunque molta conoscenza. Comunque un testo non divulgativo, molto esauriente ma richiede applicazione
