Review: No More Squeaky Squeaky - My garage door has had a horrible squeak that's been getting increasingly worse the last couple of weeks. In fact, it seemed like the garage door was binding slightly. I thought it was time to call the garage door service - but after reading the reviews, thought I'd try this product. It worked as advertised. I applied the lubricant at various points and ran the garage door a few times. It still squeaked at first. Then I applied in a few more points and ran the door a few more times. After about seven times the squeak disappeared completely. The tube is a little small. I used a whole one on my garage door. I'll buy another one to do our other door. This product saved me money on a service call.

**Q: So how much is in the tube?  Basic info from seller would be appreciated...**
A: On the front of the tube it says, "1.75 oz / 49g

**Q: Do you apply it all along the screw drive?**
A: I put dabs every 12 inch on the bottom side of the screw drive and let the trolley spread the grease and after a couple of door openings, the screw drive is well lubed. It is not necessary to put globs of lube on as you only need fine coating plus you save on the Lubriplate.

**Q: Would this grease be useful in the drawer slides of older kitchen cabinets? Is there a strong smell that would be bad in a kitchen?**
A: I can't see any reason not to use a small dab on the metal slide drawer hardware. I have not detected any obnoxious odor from the grease.

**Q: Can i apply it along the chain??**
A: I've been using it for 18+ years, per the recommendation of the installer of the opener, on the overhead metal screw rod.  Doesn't glob for me.  I apply it about every 6 months. Does a great job. In fact, he said 'don't use anything else.'

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as it should

Purchased this grease to make my garage door a little quieter. Seems to be working pretty well. Door hinges (Of a sectional style door) wouldn't turn before or when I was applying the grease. They would squeak something awful, kinda like nails on a chalkboard. However after one application, and about 20 open/close repetitions all but one round barrel hinge are absolutely silent. That one refuses to quiet down. The hinges can now be turned by hand with just two fingers. I also greased the track (w.e its called) That pulls the door up (not the tension springs lol). The door also jerks less, which I think has to do with the hinges of the sectional actually rotating so the door can bend and open up. After one week, I'm going to apply another dosage, and see the effect. I'll comment further if the duration quality is less than exemplary. So all in all. Great buy. Works good, not too pricey, and has alot of product.
