I only need a half sheet for regular loads and they got into my detergent dispenser well. My clothes always come out clean. I also like that it's easy to pack on an extended trip to see family, and laundry will be done. I have not tried it with hand washables yet. I am also a fan of not having large plastic bottles all around my small laundry room. It takes up almost no space. This just works on so many levels.
