Do beginners need ski goggles?

I would get goggles. These are well worth the price and are perfect for a beginner or a seasoned skier. If it snows or is windy you'll be glad you have them regardless of how fast you're going.

what is the VLT rating on these?

They are not VLT rated at all. The price is low but these are very cheaply made

Where are these made?

Probably foreign because they’re sweet!
